So you've got numbers for your military, but you don't know how many people go into a tank or a Cruiser. Well, I can only give you averages, you will need to decide. This is a great time to customize and create your own military objects. Remember though:
High Economy = Better Technology = Better and more efficient Military Supplies
Don't think you can just take the lower number so you can have more. Check your economy and think. Does this make sense.

Land Forces:
Tanks: 4-6
Troop Transport Tanks: 3-5 (Transports 6-8 soldiers at a time)
Helicopters: 2-4 (Depending on type, transports 5-8)
Howitzers: 6-9 (These aren't so much used anymore. I like long strike tanks better, however, they're good for making an enemy move into traps)
Long Strike Tanks: 4-6
