Alana ran down the stairs. She jumped over the barriers, and approached Bondahar.

OOC: Sorry, mixing up names again. IC: "I would like to get Turner released into my hands, rather than a executioner's."

"My girl," said the justice, "This man is on trial for Treason, there is naught that you could render to us that would be in fair payment for his crimes."

"What about a substitution?" Ambassador Sickle walked forward. "My life for his?" The Ambassador smirked. "As a Necron, I can see past humans, and see directly to what souls are worth. My soul, is of equal value, to his."

"and you, a Necron ambassador would willingly give your life for a traito to his country?"

Alana bit back the tears. Her and Sickle go way back. "I would." Alana looked at Turner.

Turner at last looked up from the floor, bitterness flushed quickly from his face.
"This sacrifice we shall take." Spake the Cheif Justice, "On these condidtions. Namely, One, Turner is not yet found guilty, take his place and he will be found guilty by default, and you will be executed in his stead, wait for our judgement and your sacrifice will not be accepted. "Two, Turner is still a criminal of the most heinous nature, and though he may live, he will not be allowed to set foot on any Yichnelevanian possessions, or be within Yichnelevanian space so long as our judgement is held valid, and his exile is repealed by a king. "with these conditions outlined, will you still hold to your decision?"

Ambassador Sickle walked over to Turner. "Take this back to my son." He placed his ring into Turner's hand. "Tell my wife I love her and I'll see her on the other side." He walked away to the front. "I accept these terms with full knowledge of what I am about to do." He smiled at Alana, the girl who was like his sister.

Turner brought his hands up as far as they would go, taking the ring, "I shall, sir. I cannot thank you enough for my life, though it be that I am but alive, and nothing else."
"Then step thee, sir, to the gallows, and let loose Turner, take him to Earth and drop him there."

"We, the Necron, will take him personally." Alana thought her voice sounded nervous. As she said it, Sickle stepped up the gallows.

"You, the Necron, have not custody of the prisoner until such time as we release him from ours, and we eill not release him from ours unti he is beyond our borders."
The Hangman slipped the noose around Sickle's neck, "have ye any last words?"

"I'll see you at Earth." She walked back upstairs and up to the man they had been speaking with earlier. "I would like to head back to my ship, if you could."
"Why, actually yes. For me to die now will bring about the Prophecy hopefully." He smiled as he felt the rope against his neck.

"Board your transport," Stri said, "You will have no escort, as you are not a diplomat."
Turner was led at spearpoint from the court.
The hangman was shocked, but a coldblooded man all the same, and wasted but a moment before kicking the box out from beneath the former ambassador.

She nodded. "I hope this anger at me will not spread inter-galactically." She turned and headed towards her transport.
The Ambassador's neck didn't snap upon falling. The rope was too short for him, and he slowly felt himself die.
